The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Reader Lite is a compact credential reader for doors managed through UniFi Access. Users can unlock with an NFC card or the UniFi Identity mobile app, while handwave provides an additional request-to-exit interaction. The reader connects to a compatible UniFi Access Hub over PoE.
This is reader hardware only. A compatible Access Hub, Access-capable UniFi Console or controller, suitable network infrastructure and compatible lock hardware are required for a working door installation. The Reader Lite suits an entry point where simple NFC and mobile credentials are wanted. Confirm the reader, hub, door hardware, cabling and exit arrangement with the installer before installation. Check the full bill of materials before ordering so the selected accessory can be installed with the intended door or gate system.
