Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra Multi-WAN Router

The UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra is a compact gateway for UniFi Network deployments that need centralised management, security controls, and multi-WAN flexibility. It runs the UniFi Network application and is specified to manage more than 30 UniFi devices and 300 or more clients. Its IDS/IPS routing throughput is quoted at 1 Gbps, giving a clear planning reference for gateway traffic under security inspection.

Multi-WAN load balancing supports networks with more than one internet connection, subject to the capabilities and policies of the upstream services. The gateway provides four Gigabit RJ45 ports plus one RJ45 port supporting 1 or 2.5 GbE, allowing the installer to assign WAN and LAN roles in UniFi Network. A small 0.96-inch status display provides local device information.

The UCG Ultra is powered through USB-C at 5V DC and 3A, with its adapter included. Maximum power consumption is quoted at 6.2 W and the supported input range is 100–240V AC through the adapter. Confirm port assignments, ISP handoff speeds, VLAN requirements, and placement before adoption. Actual internet performance depends on the service, traffic rules, and connected clients.
