Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Lite Compact WiFi 7 Access Point

The UniFi U7 Lite is a compact dual-band 2.4/5 GHz WiFi 7 access point for homes, offices, and small commercial networks. Four spatial streams support concurrent wireless traffic, while the 2.5 GbE uplink provides wired capacity for modern multi-gigabit switching. The device is powered over Ethernet and integrates with UniFi Network for adoption, configuration, monitoring, and client management.

It is specified for coverage of up to 115 square metres and support for more than 200 connected devices. These figures are useful for initial planning but are not a guarantee of service in every building. Wall construction, access point placement, neighbouring networks, client radio capability, channel width, and airtime demand all affect real coverage and throughput. WiFi 7 benefits also require compatible client devices and suitable configuration.

Install the U7 Lite where a discreet ceiling mount and multi-gigabit uplink fit the site design. A compatible PoE switch or injector is required; check its power budget and the Ethernet cabling before commissioning. Configure SSIDs, VLANs, security, and roaming policy in UniFi Network. The 2.5 GbE port is the wired link rate, while wireless and internet performance depend on the complete network path.
