Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Outdoor WiFi 7 Outdoor Access Point

The UniFi U7 Outdoor is an all-weather dual-band WiFi 7 access point for outdoor coverage across open areas, yards, and commercial sites. It uses four spatial streams and an integrated directional antenna, with included external omnidirectional antennas for alternative coverage layouts. It is specified for up to 465 square metres of open-space coverage with the directional antenna and support for more than 250 connected clients. Actual coverage depends on terrain, structures, mounting height, interference, client capability, and local radio conditions.

A 2.5 GbE uplink connects the access point to the wired network, while PoE+ supplies power. The design supports wall or pole mounting and is weatherproof for exposed outdoor use when cable glands, mounting hardware, and the upstream equipment are installed correctly. WiFi 7 capabilities also depend on compatible clients and configured channels.

Plan the antenna direction and mounting position before installation, then adopt the unit through UniFi Network for configuration and monitoring. Confirm the switch or injector provides the required PoE+ budget and that the uplink can negotiate at the intended speed. Radio rates are theoretical; they do not represent guaranteed internet throughput.
