Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro XG WiFi 7 10GbE Access Point

The UniFi U7 Pro XG is a white ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point for sites that need high-capacity wireless and a multi-gigabit wired uplink. It provides six spatial streams and supports the 6 GHz band, helping compatible client devices use additional spectrum where local regulations and device support allow. The uplink supports 10, 5, 2.5, and 1 GbE negotiation, giving the installer flexibility when connecting to different switch generations.

It is specified for up to 140 square metres of coverage and support for more than 300 connected devices. Treat those figures as planning references: building materials, client distribution, radio conditions, channel width, and airtime demand determine actual results. The 10 GbE interface is a wired port capability and does not guarantee wireless or internet throughput.

PoE+ powers the access point, so verify switch or injector compatibility, power budget, and cabling before installation. Adopt it through UniFi Network, then configure SSIDs, VLANs, security, and roaming for the site. A ceiling location with a clear radio path is recommended by the form factor. Confirm that client devices and the network core can use the desired 6 GHz and uplink capabilities.
