The Ubiquiti Enterprise Access Hub EAH-8 coordinates entry and exit control for up to eight doors. It provides eight lock terminals for 12V or dry-contact connections, eight pairs of inputs for request-to-exit devices and door-position sensors, and eight PoE ports for Access readers. Four auxiliary terminals can connect chimes, sirens or door openers.
The EAH-8 is AC-powered and also provides an external battery backup input for 32 to 48 V plus a DC input for backup power. External battery charging is not integrated. It is hub hardware only; compatible readers, lock hardware, sensors, cabling, network equipment and an Access-capable UniFi Console or controller are separate unless listed in a bundle. Confirm the power design, door and lock compatibility, reader wiring, emergency interfaces and Access software environment with the installer before installation.
