The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Reader G2 gives a UniFi Access door several credential options in a weather-resistant reader. Users can unlock with an NFC card or the UniFi Identity mobile app, and the handwave function supports a touch-free interaction. Entry and exit greeting messages provide reader feedback. The unit connects to a compatible UniFi Access Hub using PoE.
The G2 is reader hardware only. A compatible Access Hub, Access-capable UniFi Console or controller, network connection and suitable lock and exit hardware are required for a complete door system. It is specified with IP55 weather resistance and operation from -30 to 45 degrees Celsius. Confirm the mounting location, cable route, hub pairing and lock or egress arrangement with the installer before installation.
