The white Ubiquiti UniFi Access Retrofit Reader is an indoor/outdoor OSDP reader designed for use with a compatible UniFi Retrofit Hub. It supports NFC cards and Apple Touch Pass, allowing an existing access-control cable run to be reused where the cabling is suitable. The white finish suits installations that need a lighter reader appearance.
This is reader hardware only. A compatible UniFi Retrofit Hub, Access-capable UniFi Console or controller, suitable network equipment and compatible lock and exit hardware are separate unless listed in a bundle. Existing cabling must be inspected and confirmed suitable for the reader and hub; do not assume every legacy run will work. Have the installer check the mounting position, OSDP wiring, door hardware, power, egress arrangement and site conditions before installation.
